Stewarded by the same family since 1903. Now managed by the next generation to raise grass fed heart healthy Akaushi beef through conservation ranching. Sundowner Hill Akaushi cattle are DNA tested and verified to be Akaushi and raised naturally without hormones. We sell 1/2, 1/4, 1/16 beef shares that is dry aged to increase tenderness and flavor then vacuum sealed.

About Me
My mission for SHA is to manage our multi-generational native grass pastures to raise premium grain and grass finished Akaushi beef. My background and passion for ranch and wildlife management stems from nearly three decades of hunting and ranching. I am an avid outdoorsman with a passion for land and water management, which has steered me into the beef business.
I also consult land owners to help improve water use efficiency on their properties to promote better native forage and wildlife habitat. As a Civil & Environmental Engineer for 12 years I gained extensive knowledge in civil design and water resource management.

I am also committed to the transformative potential of Akaushi cattle, a breed proven to be superior and has been raised by our family for two decades.
